Frequently Asked Questions

You should install the sod the same day it's brought to you; obviously it's more perishable in summer when it's hotter than in fall and winter when it's cooler.

2. How thick is the Sod?
The sod is about 1/2 inch thick so leave your grade about 1/2 below around sidewalks and borders.

No we time to harvest the Sod so it's ready for you to pickup. Please give us 24 hours notice.

4. How much water should I give it?
As soon as you install Sod immediately give it one inch of water do not let it dry out in the summer months sod is a very perishable commodity it has no root system yet ,In winter and fall you might not need to irrigate at all here in the Pacific Northwest.

This is only a temporary situation when you are applying a lot of water in summer and it's really hot you have created a mushroom factory they will go away once you cut back on your watering.
